There have been a lot of complaints over the years about Steemit’s “trending posts” homepage. At times it has been filled with seemingly mediocre content, often all about blockchain news that only appeals to people deep in the cryptocurrency industry.

Now we’re getting closer to a healthy homepage - we’ve had stuff like a personal profile of Elon Musk originally from Rolling Stone magazine, with Steemit-exclusive original material, for example. One day Steemit will be more like Reddit, where the front page is filled with ultra-pro content like this.
It is surreal to see The Needle Drop on Steemit - but it’s not that surprising, maybe just faster than I had dreamed of. Who’s next? Perhaps No Jumper could get over here, he’s often speaking about YouTube monetization issues.
