Hello to everyone,
In this article, I would like to tell you about the training I attended today.
In this training, which was carried out with the support of the municipality, there was a group of teachers from Kazakhstan besides me.
At the opening of the program, a beautiful Antalya promotional video was watched.
Afterwards, they said that the training will be held in two languages, Kazakh and Turkish.
At the end of the training, we would have information about learning styles and creative education techniques.
Retired from Akdeniz University two years ago to make his first presentation, Prof. Mualla Hanım was invited to the stage.
He shared some information about Turkey's past education system.
After a small coffee break, group work was organized with a leader to increase group interaction.
Afterwards, we watched the swan making video with the paper folding art called origami.
Then we divided into four different groups and tried to make a paper swan as much as we learned from this video.
Even though we don't speak the same language, we got on very well with my friends in my group and we got along very well.
We went back to the hall and listened to the presentation on learning styles.
With this presentation, we learned about David Colb's learning styles and educational role profiles.
This was really valuable information.
The most important thing for me was the fact that each individual has different learning styles.
Sometimes we may find it difficult to teach something to a child or someone.
The reason for this tension is the thought that the other person cannot understand.
Maybe the teaching technique we apply is insufficient and not suitable for the person.
This perspective is an idea that can improve both our learning and teaching skills.
With this training, I refreshed some of my knowledge and improved.
I would also like to share two books recommended to us by one of the educators, Ms. Esra.
If you're interested in the subject, you might like these two books.
The first of these is David Colb's book "How You Learn, The Way You Live", and the second is Paulo Freire's "The Psychology of the Oppressed".
I follow activities that can develop me in the region I live in and that interest me.
I also appreciate that the municipality reaches out to the public with such educational and instructive activities.
I wanted to share this enjoyable and instructive experience with you.

Size bu yazımda bugün katılmış olduğum eğitimden bahsetmek istiyorum.
Belediye desteğiyle gerçekleştirilen bu eğitimde benim dışımda bir grup Kazakistan'dan gelen öğretmen vardı.
Programın açılışında güzel bir Antalya tanıtım videosu izletildi.
Ardından Kazakça ve Türkçe olmak üzere iki dilde eğitimin gerçekleştirileceğini söylediler.
Eğitim sonunda öğrenme stilleri, yaratıcı eğitim teknikleri gibi konularda bilgi sahibi olacaktık.
İlk sunumunu yapmak üzere Akdeniz Üniversitesinden iki yıl önce emekli olmuş Prof. Mualla Hanım sahneye davet edildi.
Türkiye'nin geçmiş eğitim sistemi hakkında bazı bilgiler paylaştı.
Küçük bir kahve molası sonrası grup etkileşimini arttırmak için bir lider eşliğinde grup çalışması düzenlendi.
Devamında origami adlı kâğıt katlama sanatı ile kuğu yapımı videosu izledik.
Ardından dört ayrı gruba ayrılarak bu videodan öğrendiğimiz kadarıyla kağıttan kuğu yapmaya çalıştık.
Aynı dili konuşmasak dahi grubumdaki dostlarla çok güzel anlaştık ve kaynaştık.
Tekrar salona geçip öğrenme stilleri ile ilgili sunumu dinledik.
Bu sunumla birlikte David Colb'un öğrenme stilleri ve eğitici rol profilleri hakkında bilgiler edindik.
Bunlar gerçekten çok değerli bilgilerdi.
Benim için en önemlisi her bireyin farklı öğrenme stillerine sahip olduğu gerçeğiydi.
Bazen herhangi bir çocuğa veya birine bir şey öğretirken zorlanabiliriz.
Bu gerginliğin sebebi karşımızdakinin anlayamadığı düşüncesidir.
Belki de uyguladığımız öğretim tekniği yetersizdir ve kişiye uygun değildir.
Bu bakış açısı bizim hem öğrenme hem de öğretme becerilerimizi geliştirebilecek bir düşüncedir.
Bu eğitimle birlikte bazı bilgilerimi tazeledim ve geliştim.
Ayrıca eğitimcilerden Esra Hanım'ın bize önerdiği iki kitabı paylaşmak istiyorum.
Konuyla ilgilendiyseniz, bu iki kitap hoşunuza gidebilir.
Bunlardan birincisi David Colb'un "Nasıl Öğrenirsen Öyle Yaşarsın" kitabı, ikincisi ise Paulo Freire'nin "Ezilenlerin Psikolojisi" kitabıdır.
Yaşadığım bölgede beni geliştirebilecek ve ilgimi çeken faaliyetleri takip ediyorum.
Belediyenin bu tarz eğitici ve öğretici aktivitelerle halka ulaşmasını da takdir ediyorum.
Benim için keyifli ve öğretici bu deneyimi sizlerle paylaşmak istedim.
