It's a very interesting question. A very philosophical question that says that there are underlying causes or reasons for what ever we do in our lives.
We have to find the root cause of our actions if we really want to know what motivates us and drive us to take action in all areas of our lives.
It's a very interesting field that makes us able to transform our thoughts into our actions!!
The inner motivation and driving forces induce a kind of desire, willingness, and readiness to do what we do.
There is a lot of research on intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation.
Actually, the question I selected today for my write-up is very intriguing and very complicated at the same time.
If we want to change our habits, we will have to ponder on this question thoroughly.
There are basic human needs and a desire to achieve more. Sometimes, the temptation to get rewarded while at other times is the fear of loss and punishment.
All these factors play a great role in making us do certain things in certain way.
Some people are more aggressive. Some are more ambitious, and there are many more qualities that we inherently have in us.
Some people are more passionate while others are more complacent.
All these differences play a vital role in determining our direction and choices in life!
Last but not least, external factors like our environment, the people we spend more time with, our climate, our culture, and finally, our circumstances, these influences shape our personality and our lifestyle.
Lastly, I personally think that we should do more work in this field of study as the answers we will explore will help us better understand the motives and reasons behind why we do what we do.
