Hello, kind and beautiful community, and host greetings. We had a little break from the internet and media. We were traveling around the Western part of the country, enjoying Kind and rocky mountains, waterfalls, and beautiful nature. Before traveling I had painted some kindness rocks to make a post before travel, but suddenly because of the weather we changed plans and I wasn't able to post anything during the travel.
But I took my painted kindness rocks with me and thought about putting them there in nature and I did put them there so somebody could inspire and forward this movement further.
I am collecting rocks from the seashore or beach around here in our village, they are not smooth or round but sometimes I am lucky to find what I am looking for.
This time I chose three rocks to work on them.
I had painted them basic acryl color gray and white and one kept natural.
The gray color stone/rock has become smooth and very nice. so draw a turtle shell on it. when I do these kinds of things I forget to take photos. My husband was busy making travel plans.
Tried putting rocks together and started making sketches. Only the big one had basic gray colors on it which I used for turtleback/shell.
Used gray and green pencils to mark the the shells.
After marking shells marked dark green color lines and used a piece of sponge to color the green patches on shells.
Then used cotton and dark green all around the shells.
Patches of golden color on a green-black surface using a small piece of sponge.
The shells looked very nice I painted same way the feet tail, and head.
And the tortoise has been done only needs to fix all the parts together which should have been done using a glue gun. I did it when I finished the whole project.
I had painted this rock using a basic white acryl and kept it for dry on plastic. but when it dried got some shape on it.
Looking at it where to start. Just trace the shape using a pencil.
And the final result looked like a tree. Thinking about World Tree Day. kept like this. I should done something else also.
One kindness rock I left on the table where we rented the cabin.
The Mandala peacock
Sketched peacock shape on the natural stone.
I was trying to put a peacock on the one big rock close to the waterfalls but it dropped in water. that is the kindness of rock. I couldn't get a photo of it.
But I am happy all kindness rocks are in nature.
Thank you very much.
Be kind to each other.
