There was a time in my country when it became a normal slang that school was a scam, it was almost in the lips of everyone then, I had to figure that statement again. Is school really a scam? Are they right on saying that cause I refuse to buy into that ideology .....
While I was still in uni and even before that I had observed some persons even my own immediate Brother who has graduated long ago hadn't still gotten a job and lots of others who I knew will graduate and still nothing to show for it...
They told us Education is the key, keys to a lot of good and pleasurable things life have to offer, but to access it, you must go to school, and so I wonder why are some had done all this, yet their lifes does not reflect that reality....

Right now I'm at the verge of entrying the labour market fully as a young fresh graduate after completing my service year and I'm really really skeptical about experiencing what I hated,...
who's to blame?
Meanwhile I use to blame these guys and get very angry at them been in school and not creating a level ground for themselves to thrive upon, knowing the reality of things, obviously some of them do not pay attention to things going on and suddenly will find themselves in a ditch..... then on the other hand some actually did pay attention but then circumstances weren't favorable.
Theoretical and practical experience differs
You see what we are being taught in school and what we actually experience are two different world apart, This for a fact is one reason why I hated the science subjects in school, cause what I'm being taught I can't see, feel or smell them, like I can't relate with them with my senses, so it's all theory, i need something I can relate with, something I can feel, not coming to teach me all the 20 elements and I don't know what to do with them, how are they relevant in my life how can they help me become who I want to be and were the problem lies....
The education curriculum are filled up with subjects and courses that the student can not in any way do something about Yeah I get it that all of these things are to like a guiding tools to become something we hope to become in the future but then why can't the school system fine-tune this curriculum to include some real life courses that can actually act as a Brainer outside the main scope of study...
Well I must give credit to some changes I've noted now, like during my university last days, they introduced a course called entrepreneurial development basically aimed at creating a mindset in us that we too can become cteators of jobs instead of just seekers of jobs, and I like that we were also asked to come up with our business plans which also helped me did some digging into my own business and how to go about it....
A new means of survival
Life after school is the real deal, cause a lot of persons have finished and as a matter of fact their life's no different from someone who hasn't gone to school, instead they'd come out to start afresh and learn a new means of survival, learn a skill, add something to create additional stream of income.
There's a lot the school system did not teach us and some how we need to figure that out on our own And most times we do this learning through our experiences hence they say Experience is the best teacher, and so I asked why do we need to be taught by another teacher called experience after school...
I did something very strategic before I gained admission and that was to learn a skill in the line of my passion because I've already envision my life after school in as much as I might get lucky with opportunities I never wanted to be left stranded or frustrated with the system of things in the evonomy.....
