I went out to buy something from this aboki guy opposite my house this evening and I saw him with a pos machine, altho I have been buying things from him and pay on cashless, it hits me differently today, how things have quickly changed, I would have talked about the cashless policy stuffs and how it has changed our living but let leave that for another day, today I want to talk about the game of numbers...
I really do not care how big, or well known any company is , if such company is not targeting Nigeria and Africa as a whole then I would say that company is really not looking at a long term sustainable growth pattern, the reason why i said so is because the population and workforce is available here in abundance.
like i stated when I observed the aboki now using Pos machine for business, there i thought about few years ago when this wasn't possible, I now literally go cashless cause I can now do transfer anywhere at anytime including market women.
as a business, your first point of concern is the multiplier effect, that is the numbers,
let me tell you something, you see any business you see any rich wealthy person you see strive on this principles, how many persons get to use your product or service and come back again or recommend some else to try, so the most important thing is to keep the live line active and recurrent.
I was telling a friend of mine how Facebook has become one of the most widely used social media handle in the world right now, if you think going to download it from play store or ios is an issue they make sure that every single phone manufacturer has Facebook pre-installed as one of the phone's primary soft ware, now it's like saying every single person on earth by default must have a Facebook account, weather or not one day you will need it, that is the game of numbers, reaching and developing strategies to reach more and more persons, cause the more persons you reach the more cash inflows you get
just like today, something that was impossible years ago is now the norm, because someone came up with that idea of carrying transactions without going to the bank, and then worked on it till the multiplier effect became real.
it's the game of numbers, if you understand the multiplier and apply it to whatever business or initiatives you had in mind you will excel in no time.
