

As I slowly approached, it was indeed a beautiful yellow flower with many petals. Inside, I could see some white antennae, which I imagine serve a specific function, but unfortunately, I don't know much about them.


I took several photos, but very carefully, because, as you can see, the cactus had a large number of spines. There was also another plant nearby that seemed to surround it, also with what appeared to be other spines, a bit longer and thicker compared to those of the cactus.




One detail that caught my attention was seeing other flowers developing at the ends of the cactus's limbs. I've seen them in other colors, but not like this, which is what made it so surprising. And, as usual, I always have my phone nearby because I never know when the perfect moment might be to capture one of the incredible images that nature has to offer.

There are truly beautiful flowers that we can find growing wild in nature, perhaps because of that very element of surprise—seeing them on a cactus with practically no special care, which makes it even more amazing.
