The first is its healing properties, since I'd seen my mom recommending it to some friends who came to get water; Because they were experiencing some minor kidney problems, and this plant has the ability to help eliminate or reduce these health issues, it's prepared as follows, according to her: one of the stems is cut, and the outer layer is carefully removed until the softer part is reached. This part is then cut into pieces so they can be placed in any glass jar of water (it's optional to refrigerate it or keep it at room temperature). They can then drink this water whenever they wish, but try to avoid letting the jar dry out and refilling it. This is done for three days, then a break, and then another three days, changing the stems.

I also noticed something at the top that I wouldn't know exactly how to describe because of its shape; it looked like some kind of scales. These caught my attention so much that I asked my mother about them. She couldn't tell me what they were or if they had any specific function. One extra detail is that a very pretty white flower grows on that top part, which I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph.

It goes without saying that anyone who has any information about its usefulness could leave it in the comments so we can all learn, since sometimes we have plants at home and don't know the benefits they can provide to our health, and the best part is that it's all 100% natural.
