Man oh man, a little under two weeks and already a bunch of people who actively use #cycling4steemit ! In all honesty I had no expectation that there would be this many people joining in that fast. But who am I to question the good things in life? It's amazing to see all of you wanting to see this project work out as much as I do!
I start to notice a lot of the new names and seeing some of you going into each other posts to read and comment each other is just amazing to witness. What a beautiful and a wonderful start to get on such a new born project. While of course I try as much as possible to support your content I cannot keep up with each and everyone of your posts. Simply because of time and the amount of content you guys are pushing out daily. But that's a good thing, in fact it's exactly as it should be!
So a big thanks to each and everyone of you!
As the community grows, new opportunities opens up!
As the community grows it is time to start looking at new opportunities that can make all of this even more awesome. So the question is, what could a bunch of cyclist gain from in a community? Here's some ideas:
Strava group and challenges
This one is actually an idea coming from . To setup a strava cycling4steemit group and start putting up competitions/challenges through it. In my ears this would simply fit perfectly into everything. Strava and cycling always goes hand in hand. Also I know everyone of you with a bike most likely are having a little bit competition spirit in you!
Ride stories, photo competitions and much more !
Who doesn't enjoy a well taken picture of man greatest invention in action? Or crazy stories of people going on all kind of cycling adventures but lives to tell the tale? With a growing community these kind of competitions and community sharing events would be a lot of fun and by far possible. Even with the handful of people we are having now.
This is gonna be great guys, I can see it coming! I will start looking into some of the stuff mentioned above and come back with some ideas that could fit our group! If you have any ideas for the love of two wheels, suggest it down in the comment section or even make your own post about it with the #cycling4steemit tag!
See you on the road!
