Hello Steemians of the world!
You might not know about Adelaide. We're a sleepy, freely settled town, as opposed to the convict colonies that make up the vast majority of Australia's other capitals. We're entering winter, which to us is daytime temperatures hovering just under 15C, and night temperatures ranging from 3-7C depending on what part of town you're from.
If you're unlucky enough (or lucky enough) to live closer to the hills, or in the hills, it'll be even colder.
So how do you escape the freezing, grasping maws of uncle frostbite? You join us.
On Thursday, the 28th of June, a haphazard and large throng of Adelaide based Steemians will descend upon The Jade for burgers, conversation; and human connection.
No, it's not some sort of bizarre online speed dating event - it is a time to sit, face to face, with other people who post content on this platform; ask them how they are; connect, and have some deep, profound conversations.
It's also where projects can be born! I plan on having a discussion with 
(We could even register it as a Fringe event in a year or so, depending on how we plan this!)
As usual, 
It isn't about bulls and bears, though. Cute creatures they may be; the human relationships are what really matters at this monthly meet.
