Okey, were should I start? Well about five years ago a friend of mine, , tried to get me to get into the crypto-currency world. I was skeptical and unsure at first, because I was really new to the Internet. Then he found SteemIt and told me about it . He said it would be a great way for me to post my pics and talk about the subjects that interest me and maybe gain some crypto-currency too. So I joined up, read up about it and I really enjoy the concept of steemit and the sense of community within the Internet world. So I owe him a lot of credit and thanks.
Alright now, a little bit about me. I'm a forty-year-old man child ( my wife and daughters wanted me to put that in) that loves all animals and creatures because at one time I had six snakes, four corn snakes and two albino Burmese pythons, Daisy and Doc!
As well as a tiger salamander named Slimy, an Arizona bark scorpion named Stinger, (not really original name), a Pacman frog that was big enough to eat full grown mice, his name was Frogger ( from the Atari game). An orange knee tarantula (I think that what it was)-his name was Fred-(I did not name him), and a savanna monitor named Buddy, who I was able to train to eat out of my hand without him biting it, and a horse named Zen. A lot of people said I was crazy, but I loved them all and I enjoyed going out and catching food for them, such as, frogs, bugs, chickens, mice, and rabbits
The bottom pic is when I was feeding the snakes and putting them in the cage, when Daisy turned and tried to bite me, her mouth just closed as my friend took the picture.
That was before I married and had kids, I traded some of the animals for a wife and some kids ( AKA I traded one dangerous situation for another). It was the best trade of my life. Now I have a turtle, a frog, two fish, two cats, a dog and an amazing wife and three wonderful girls. One of them is brand new, only four months old. Now I like to take pictures of nature, animals, my carved walking sticks, agates that me, my family, and my friends have picked, and fish. I love to go for walks with the family down the beach at lake superior (that's were I find the agates). We luckily live 3 miles from it. I'm going to try to run a marathon in 6 months (I'm not a runner). I just turned 40 and said what can I do that will make people I know say "Your a nut job OB," even though they've said that for years.
Well that's me in a nutshell, I hope I can keep you guys and gals entertained and amazed with my pictures and the crazy little adventures that people that get to know me say "Hey OB, what crazy adventures happened to you this week?" and I'm happy to tell them...hope you tune in and I will try not to let you down. Your new friend OB.
