After hurricane Irma was over Tim, his sister, a couple of other friends and I decided to go check out the dock behind the house, it felt like an expedition adventure! We walked in between the bushes observing how the strong winds brought down a couple of trees
.
It was one of those adventures you used to have when you were a kid. The water was above my knees and I wouldn't be surprised if an alligator had come our way, but Tim told me they were more scared of me than I was of them so I just forgot about the idea
.
The dock was full of water and we couldn't help but do acro on it. Fortunately Julie had her awesome camera with her to capture this unique and beautiful moment
.
The whole experience was incredible, we laughed, played, swam and created new images for our little box of memories
.
Even though a hurricane is a very scary natural disaster, I enjoy the fact that it has the ability to bring friends, families and communities together
.
I just hope that our society evolves enough to the point where there would be no need to something drastic to happen in order to be closer and supportive with each other 👬👭👫💙
