Ever since I joined this community I've gotten the chance to read some of the best content in the world. There is no shortage of ridiculously great and mouth watering content here on Steemit. Even if I tried I can't fully describe how good this platform is for content creators. As I like to put it: Content is KING. What I believe we are witnessing first hand here is not just community brilliance and grit but also a rebirth. A rebirth of pure dopeness and quality creation from human beings that has been masked by global superficiality. Yes! It is here.
"O quality creation where art thou?"
"I have been living here in Steemland waiting for the world to wake the hell up"
What if there was an "award" for our most artistic, adventurous, innovative, creative, and thought provoking Steemians?
Well......Voila!!
The Blueprint
The light bulb has now come on as I notice that there are some Steemians who are true Renaissance men and women. It is truly amazing to witness others being able to write, create, philosophy, and innovate at superhuman levels. This is the reasoning behind why I am choosing to honor those who possess a "Swiss army knife" set of abilities. This is how The Vitruvian "award" process will go down:
- The community will mention one Steemian who they think deserves The Vitruvian in the comments section below.
- The top 3 Steemians that receive the most mentions will then move to the final voting stage in which the person with the most votes will be awarded The Vitruvian along with some good ol' SBD or Steem.
- The winner of The Vitruvian will receive 100% of the post rewards.
- The final voting stage will be announced at a later time so pay attention for an update.
I did my best to keep this as simple as possible and I wanted to allow the Steemit community to share who they think is a Renaissance woman or man. The award is not a physical award but it is represented by this plaque-like model you saw earlier. Also, I haven't decided on the frequency of this award because I want it to be a very unique and rare thing to behold. So here we go. Who will be considered worthy of The Vitruvian?
