Why I chose Slothicorn?
At first I did not know what is slothicorn. I often find it on a great artist in steemit but since got an information link about Slothicorn. So I decided to join in this community who support artists, quality content and creative common in crypto currency.
I am happy to join a community of creative people, surely will gain a lot of experience and make me more creative. So I make this post as introduce my self to Slothicorn Community.
Well, Let me introduce my self.
Who Am I?
My name is huslein, I live in Aceh, Indonesia. I am a traditional artist. I started learning this art from 2013 until now. During that time, I have tried various art forms such as drawing, painting, string art, carving and other creativity. I have also tried various media such as pen, ink, charchoal, oil, watercolor makeup tools and the last media is coffee. In addition, I often do other creativity like handmade of garbage or recycle art. I love all kinds of art. I have joined steemit community in November 2017. I am happy to be here because I can find something new in my life and meet new people for every day.
What is my blog about ?
Generally, my blog all focuses on art, creativity and occasionally I also post about photography. In my blog, I provided a drawing tutorial or whatever that I do complete with the process of making it and sometimes I also include a link video tutorial. I am very happy to share information about the techniques that I used, so everyone can be inspired and motivated to try the same. I'm not good in writing, because of that I try to explain it simply.
What can I do for the community?
The reason I write this is because I am very happy to be in a community, not only in steemit, but in my daily life I also join a lot of community. Certainly, in the community, we can share with each other, interact and establish a better relationship. As I explained above, that I love to interact and meet new people because we can not live alone and still need the help of others to improve our skill. I will try to give the best that I can for community.
Ok, I will share one of my creativity for slothicorn as the introduce my self for community. I created a painting by using coffee, I painted a unicorn by using coffee in realistic form. I've been painting by using coffee for 3 months and I love it so much. So let me to tell everyone how the process to paint with coffee.
Before I starting the process, I prepared the mediums there are Nescafee coffee powder, palette, brushes, pencil and concorde paper.
At first I made a sketch on A4 paper size with pencil.
I put the coffee powder into a palette of different volume then I added a little hot water until it is divided into the most watery to the thickest.
Next I blocked the sketch by using the most watery coffee until evenly distributed.
Then I added thick coffee to hair, ears, nose, mouth and surface of the neck with different levels of viscosity.
The last step is I painted its horn and spouting coffee on the paper surface.
