Underwater Sun Rays, Snorkeling in Maui, Hawaii
Color Challenge: Saturday Indigo
This photo was taken by me first deep-sea snorkeling and then laying on my back looking upwards towards the surface of the ocean in Maui, Hawaii while I was snorkeling about 0.75 miles off the coast of Maui. I used my GoPro to take this shot.
Interestingly, the shot came out with a much darker blue, closer to ultramarine, so it is quite fitting for this day's color challenge since Indigo is a unique color closer to the ultramarine color.
What I love about this photo is that the sun rays glisten underneath the water. If I didn't have to breath, I'd love to stay underwater longer just to stare at the sun rays moving about under water.
