I had the chance to check out a cool co-working space near center of Berlin, Germany called Factory Berlin.
It's conveniently located next to the Bernauer Straße U-bahn metro station. When the weather is nice, the outdoor space is really comfortable.
The whole complex is two stories, with a cafeteria on the first floor as well as a quiet area. Both the first and second floor have a small talk and eating area to grab a quick coffee or water break. There is plenty of open space in terms of desk space, or couch space, or eclectic wall space.
That being said, there were some work spaces that I strangely did not find plugs ... which is a major requirement when working as a digital nomad, as powering up laptops and electronics is essential.
Since the Factory Berlin is very popular, I was told that people would line up and wait around the opening time to claim their spot, and then pretty much stay the entirety of the day.
The day I visited wasn't as busy as it usually is ... so I really can't imagine going when the entire place is crowded. I can imagine that the Factory Berlin is simply over capacity.
But overall, I enjoyed my visit and seeing a previous digital nomad friend I had met last year in Athens.
