Hi guys, today is the beginning of the week, how are you?
Today I will continue my journey with the final destination of the weekend trip that I shared with you in the previous two posts. That is the hill of pink grass Dak Doa.

Referring to pink grass, tourists often think of Da Lat. However, for those of you who love backpacking and the land of Gia Lai, you know that this place also has a beautiful pink grass hill, holding anyone's foot every time they come.
Dak Doa pink grass hill is located in Glar commune, Dak Doa district, Gia Lai province, with an area of about 500 hectares mixed with pine forests, and located on a large steppe. The reason, this place is called pink grass hill is because around the beginning of November, the weather interferes between late autumn and early winter, here grows a weed, when the grass gradually turns old, it turns pink. Light and eye-catching, interspersed with tall, shady pine trees, creating an extremely beautiful scene with a pink color stretching like a carpet, wide and endlessly long.

From Chu Dang Ya volcano, I continue to move about 30km to the southwest to reach the pink grass hill with two sides of shady pine forest, stretching a long way. You will see a field with many beautiful stretches of pink grass. Around 4:30 PM I and my friends reached the above location. Before moving here, we visited a nearby market to buy food and food for our dinner.
When I first arrived, I was really surprised, because I have never seen and known grass with such color before. If you come here in the pink grass season, you will surely be captivated by this poetic and romantic beauty. You will be immersed in the wings of drinking fresh pink grass mixed with the taste of the mountains and forests, which will surely make you feel more peaceful and happy than ever.

We chose an empty lawn, and far from the main road to avoid the noise of traffic, then set up our tent. Before dark, I was able to watch the sunset here. The sun began to soften, its rays fell on the grass, and the sun slowly set behind the pines on the hillside. And I was able to take pictures of this wonderful scene. Who said nature is beautiful only in green color? Obviously in this brilliant scene right now, makes my heart flutter and fall.

After the sun disappeared behind the high pine hill, my friends and I began to prepare dishes for dinner with foods that were bought in the afternoon. Still grilled dishes, a big hot pot for a full dinner, and a bottle of apple cider with dinner. Since the evening weather here is quite cold, wine is the best choice to accompany a meal to warm up the body. Along with the bonfire next to it, food and a little wine, the stories with friends until late at night, very attractive and wonderful, right?

Early the next morning, I woke up at 5:30 to catch the sunrise. Since it was the beginning of winter, the sun rose quite late. In the morning, the glittering dew drops remain on the grass, creating a white lawn, stretching to infinity. The sun began to rise from the green pines, the early rays of sunlight began to shine down, melting the fragile dew on the grass, making the scene fanciful. Everything sparkles under the golden sunlight at the beginning of the day, making you unable to take your eyes off it.
The sweet pink grass hill in the middle of Gia Lai mountains and forests brings a very wonderful natural scenery, both majestic and immense, and fragile and gentle, and heartwarming.
The trip ended on the weekend of November of that year, but until now, my feelings for this place are still intact.

Everything is beautiful, beautiful in a perfect way that cannot be described in words.
And the way I always save these memories is by taking pictures, as we backpackers often say: "Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints."
Thank you everyone for reading my post. Hopefully, through the photos, you can admire a part of the beauty of my country.
And see you in the next post.
Wish you have a nice new week!!
