Happy Monday (and if you are me, happy day off from work). Time to celebrate with some #MondayTrance
Today, I’m taking a departure from the epic trance that normally populates this tag for something a bit more trance like in terms of mindset.
James Holden is arguably one of the best producers to weather the slump trance was in during the late 2000s, and he did this with a focus on the weird and by ignoring the cliches of the genre and upping the concept. His label, Border Community is one of the most beloved trance labels around winning over fans of populist and underground music alike.
Nazi Trance F**k Off is him at the peak of his powers. Hypnotic and growling, it rips through every audio frequency putting the listener in... well, a trance. It’s epic and something original. A true middle finger to a genre that whose constraints and cliches were weighing it down.
