Equilibrium-Original Poem #12 (Poetry Dice Challenge 3000 Week 24)

Here we go, I am entering PDC3K hosted by Hive account@robyneggs and Hive account@rensoul17 for a third week in a row, I really enjoy this challenge because it gets me to break from my usual way of thinking about things and adjust to the rules of the challenge.

Equilibrium

A cold night.

Twigs are breaking
Under the pressure of my footsteps.

It's been a long time
Since I left the comfort
Of my home.

Thoughts are spinning
In my head

While I walk
This troublesome road;
Blessed by the
Moonlight.

Now I have it in my sight.

The fabled mountain.
The Skyscraper.

I enter the tower at the base of the mountain.

I climb to the very top.

I take the moon in one
Hand.
The sun in the other.

And In that equilibrium
I release myself.
