We were traveling when Mowe had her first batch of litters. There were four very cute kitties. One litter was pure black, while the other three had stripes. Unfortunately, we lost two of the stripe ones -- Dawn & Dusk -- and were quite helpless as it was also our first time as cat moms. Previously, Mini (Mowe's sibling cat) had her kitties hidden from us and just brought them home when they were running around already.
We felt that we had two little kitties that needed saving. I even bought KMR milk formula to help feed them and kept them inside the tiny flat during the night.
Thankfully, granny cat MingMing just gave birth around the same time. She helped save and feed Midnight and Twilight. We never did find out what happened to her litters. She's a pretty independent and wild cat.
Fast forward to the present time, we're happy that Twilight found his way home last night. The cleaning along the building corridor must have scared him away, and he hid pretty well. He's with the rest of the gang outside right now.
And Midnight, she's the queen of the container garden. LOL! She even sleeps on pots at times. I have mixed feelings about it, as it's bad for my plants. Boohoo! This is but a part of the journey. There's more to the story... coming soon!
