Hi Steemit friends,
I hope you all have a good day!
I want to share with you the woman of my life. The woman who loved me for a long time. She's always been there for me a million times. It's been too long since I have taken a time to write something about her. So, I am glad to share with you the woman who made me who I am today, my Mom.
Her name is Erma. She was born on December 27, 1970. She was too young when she gave birth to our eldest. I think she was 19 years old at that time. My mom came from Negros, their dialect is ilongga. Yes, my mom is too sweet kahit galit na para ka pa din nilalambing (ganon daw talaga pag ilongga). She's a full-time mother to us. When I was a kid I don't want her to accompany me in going to school because she's too kuripot in terms of my baon, LOL! I always wanted my father to go with me because aside for the penny that he will give to me, he will also buy me snacks.
My mom inspires me a lot. She's good at budgeting and all a lot of stuff. She loves to cook and heaven knows, that we like it so much. She's a hardworking mom. She's a very generous person. My life has been full of so many twists and turns and without her, I don't think I would be where I am now. I am her biggest fan through every single stage of her life.

An open letter to my mom
I couldn't remember the last time that I wrote you a letter and forgive me for that.
I never got a chance to tell you how thankful I am to be your daughter
Thank you for being there for me always.
Thank you for being my best friend
Forgive me for being stubborn
Forgive every time that I lied to you
Forgive me for all the pain that I cause you
Forgive me for not loving myself and for not following you
Forgive me for those tears that I had because of heartbreaks
Thank you for not holding those years against me.
Thank you for seeing the goodness in me even when I didn’t deserve it
Thank you for reminding me that I deserve to be loved just like what papa's love for you
And lastly, thank you for the unconditional love Mama!
I might not say it more often but I love you so much, Mama!
When was the last time you wrote something about your mom?
When was the last time that you tell her/him that you lover her?
Do you have pictures with your mom?
A mother's love is truly selfless.
