It's clear that social media is broken. We know this because being "social"—to one extent or another—is an innate part of being human. So, you would think, the amount of time we spend on social media would make us feel positively: rewarded, enriched, engaged. If you're here, you probably recognize, can sense, the deficiency in social media and media dissemination generally in at least one of these three areas. I know I can.
So: I am excited to explore the content here and its creators. Cheers to trying to create a media platform that works for everyone. If recent events surrounding Facebook and the past U.S. Presidential election are any measure, this is an extremely important experiment.
