I will be the first to admit that cooking is not my forte! In fact, I learned how to cook on my own when I had my family. I cooked according to the taste I had in my mind. I can replica some dishes that were ate at restaurant but the seasoning would be changed.
My to go meals usually are simple stir fried veggies! Since my mom can no longer eating things that is crunchy, I also opt for vegetables that could cook faster and get softer quickly.
We had asparagus with butternut squash in the first photo, then egg plant with zucchini stir fried! Seasoning with just pepper, salt, and soy sauce!
The rice porridge topped with dried onion for crunch and green onion! This is something I cook very often for my mom. It is easy for her to consume when she doesn't feel like chewing much.
I bought a piece of jack fruit and these are the inside, which were very sweet! I have read so many different ways of cooking with jack fruit, but never try it yet! I like them fresh, and one day I will find a recipe that sounds perfectly delicious to cook with.
