Ahhhhh...
Today we got the first glimpse of the Sun again. It has been away for almost a month and a half. It isn't all dark when it is gone, you still get to see the light a couple of hours a day. The lack of the Sun comes with mood or atmosphere of time beeing slowed down.
Today we decided to take a hike in the mountains to get to see the Sun. It was a nice trip, but cold. 16 -18 below zero. That is so cold that my youngest kid got white spots on her cheeks. (White spots on bare skin is the first sign of frost damage.)
The Sun is shining on the beautiful mountains of Grytøya.
The hike to the top of the mountain isn't that long. We walked for about an hour. The snow was so hard that we could walk on our feet.
At the top of the mountain, first glimpse of the Sun in 2018. Yuhuu!
Spectacular view. The island far away is Andøya.
