I was reading a post by rtonline yesterday morning of how his Leo and Hive account is growing consistently each week and I couldn't help but admire him and that of his progress. His story (like that of others) inspires me to evaluate my own, re-examine my goals, gauge how I'm doing, where I'm lacking and try to learn, get good and better.
With the non-stop developments and innovations in this space, we do need to keep up and evolve along too. It's just great that a lot of people here set the pace and all we do is try to emulate their footsteps and go at our own speed.
What the hell I am driving at?
Well, I'm just trying to say that there are people here whom I look up to because I believe they are roaring like only a real lion can.
And how do they do that?
- They keep showing up.
I believe they know how to manage their time so well. Some might be out of the 9-5 grind, others are still on payroll but they show up often or always, engaging, sharing what they can, providing value to the ecosystem.
- They create quality contents.
I guess we all know by now what quality means in this space, right? Yes, something that adds value. And there are a lot around here whom we can learn from. (And if I must say, good formatting counts too.)
- They share their ideas, findings and or discoveries.
There are a lot of people here who do this and we find them easily by the front page. Did you perhaps read @Finguru's "How to Write Sexy Twitter Threads"? I recommend it especially if you are active on Twitter and are looking at building your network there.
- They have timelines on their goals and focus on working towards them.
Setting timelines to one's goals definitely gives one a kick to keep going and avoid slacking. I see this to be common amongst achievers in this space. Most are very detailed and clear of what they want and they keep banging the doors to get through.
- They keep BUIDLing their accounts and their network too.
How do I know this? I read from their pages, others I check through the stats. And these give me ideas on what and how they are doing. And in turn help me on my own goal-setting too, of what I might be missing.
Their network growth comes as a result of them showing up, providing value, inspiring others with what they do.
