I have staked almost 30 BXT tokens, which is around $500 USD worth. Not a lot but BXT for now has a small market cap.
What interests me in the BeeSwap platform is the real-world use case. It is a product I use for myself. Beeswap allows swapping HIVE for SWAP.HIVE at just 0.25% of transaction fee, while the main Hive-Engine website charges 1% in fees.
The holders of BXT get a 50% of the collected fees, paid daily, which now is yielding around 58% APR, paid in liquid HIVE.
The project is not without risks. Other than the risk of rug pulls, there is the risk that Hive-Engine may reduce its fees, making Beeswap less competitive or straight out useless. I doubt that would happen, and if/when it happens I hope that the Beeswap devs can keep pushing the boundaries and introducing more attractive features. To me, for now, the earnings seem to outweigh my risk aversion.
