A 12-hour shift can be physically and mentally draining, depending on how sick a patient can be. Coupled that with arresting patients, one's own or anyone's patient. We have this saying that we only need one and the whole ward is disrupted. Still safe but it takes time to gather one's priorities with everyone's patients.
Having one very dependent patient today, my shift was mostly spent at bedside with a brain injury patient who loves the Beatles and Rolling Stones. Hearing they say is the last faculty that gets lost when a patient gets so unwell so for the most part of the day, my patient and i have been listening to the songs from the 80s. Amazingly enough, my patient seemed to react a bit appropriately. Perhaps his family can check it out when they visit him tomorrow.
This is a church located near our hospital but was closed this morning. From memory, i think it's only open every Sundays and Thursdays.
This box i have got no clue for as it's located outside our administration's office.
Cheers!
