We were in Thailand in July of 2015. We visited Chiang Mai Night Safari. We had a blast there. The only one thing I wish we didn't do but I'm glad that we did since we never have to do it again was to let my kids take a picture with a white tiger on their laps.
It was a little glass room with a few cages with lion, tiger and white tiger cubs of varying sizes. You can choose to take a picture with which ever you like. I let my kids pick. They were all so cute and looked harmless. My kids picked a white tiger cub which happened to be the biggest one - and he was much bigger than he looks!
They told my kids to sit down and put the tiger on their labs and handed my daughter a bottle, then it began...
Don't look in the eyes
Hold the bottle still
Don't talk
Don't move
No sudden movement
Stay the most still you can
Now smile...
I didn't even want to ask what will happen if my kids did anything wrong.
They should've posted a warning sign! Needless to say, I would never let my kids do anything like this ever again. Somehow I'm glad we did because the picture came out great and everybody is safe and sound!
