Just before jumping on here to post, my wife ran upstairs to assist her sales person. She's beside herself with excitement about a HUGE deal on the table!
When most deals range from $100 - $500 bucks, $3000 is a big number. Shoot, even the $1,000 the deal was originally floating around at is a great number.
After the pain in the ass last week and a half, this would be like wrapping a ribbon around all the BS and dousing it with perfume.
Selling Leads To Real Estate Agents
My dear wife tells all her new hires that they can't fool another sales person.
She runs what her work calls the bullpin. All the new recruits are under her tutilage for a period of three months before they move on to other sales teams.
What she means by fooling a sales person is that real estate agents are exactly that. Sales people! Her recruits don't have an easy task, but Erin knows how to lead them to success.
Roadblocks & Breakthroughs
This is the arena where Erin (my wife) is untouchable. If you're struggling in life to achieve the goals you want to reach, Erin would suggest you attend Landmark for a weekend session.
This organization helped my wife to open her eyes to seeing the possibilities in herself and other people. She continued in her development far past the original weekend seminar.
She's been able to leverage the tools she learned, carrying them over to her workplace. How to motivate other people? Getting down to the why that makes others want to succeed. Learning to accept information without giving it extra meaning or taking things personally.
These are some of the skills that she picked up among many others. Her ability to reach people on a deep level until they know she won't let them fail is tremendous! It's one of the big reasons for her success.
Her employees move on to better opportunities but wish they were back working with her. That in itself speaks volumes.
Will Her Rep Get The Deal? If So...For How Much?
I thought perhaps by the time I finished writing all this, I'd have heard if the deal came through. So far, she's still upstairs and things are rather quiet. Hopefully, that's not a bad sign.
For you readers who now HAVE to know what happens, I'll update the post or put the ending in the comments.
Update: My wife's sales representative didn't get the $3,000 deal. They did, however, settle and sign for $1,500. HOORAY!!! It puts my lady at 200% of her sales goal for the month of August. Enormous!
Thanks for reading and as always...
