I decided to use this post with my jodoon to tell a few about my impression about the new Doctor.
To tell the truth I was really surprised when I first heard that the next Doctor will be female. I remember that on Gallifrey sex doesn't actually matter, Master was reborn female - no problem. But Doctor?
Usually I'm not the one to even notice that something changed. I never know any actors names (really, never, and plus I get really angry when someone tries to make me know them), and it's a low possibility that I'll recognize the same actor in different movies. For me these are two different things: movie and personality.
We yet have seen only the fact that Doctor changed, and Tardis threw him (oh, yes, her) away, as usual. Tardis is a female, was she jealous?:) And what about Doctor's partner, now it will be male? Well, I'm still not sure about my attitude, I think I need more episodes to decide. Yet I think that it would be better to keep Doctor male. But who knows:)
P.S. Little Star Trek bonus. And by the way here I also have what to say about the remake:)
