Our Tagaytay adventure started with our first stop at the Bulalo Capital restaurant for our lunch. Unfortunately, we had to wait for some time for us to be seated due to a high number of customers. It was also a weekend. I'd be honest, at that point I was already hungry but we didn't have any other choice so we decided to settle and wait at its sister establishment - the KOPA KOPPI CAFE.
The cafe offers a variety of affordable drinks. Peral Shakes cost about Php 165, the same as their other Iced Coffee drinks. They also serve Espresso for Php110 and other coffee flavors like Cappucino, Mocha, and Caramel Macchiato which ranges from Php145 - Php165. If you opt for a Frappuccino, it would cost you Php 175. Well, the prices are cheaper compared to those of famous coffee shops.
Since I'm prone to heartburn, I couldn't afford to drink a cup of coffee at this point. Well, most of us ordered water. 😁
There were cakes displayed and other pastries you can choose from too. However, what struck me the most was these Game of Thrones mugs and wine cups displayed on the counter! As a huge GOT fan, I was just drawn to it. My heart was fluttering.
A staff approached me and mentioned that these collectibles were brought from Germany and are individually crafted. Selling price at Php 2,500. If only I had the extra cash that time, I would get one for myself but perhaps next time.
The café barely had customers before we arrived. We were seated near the order station and this narrow hallway/dining area overlooking Taal Lake which is a great spot for those who like to dine by themselves or for couples wanting to eat with a great view.
Most of the tables and seats were empty and so I was able to freely take photos around.

This couple chose a homey spot right in the middle with an overlooking view of Taal Lake. I think this is a great spot for a large group of friends.
At the far end were also some great spots to be seated if you want a little bit of privacy like this one...
But this one right here was the perfect spot... A nook with an amazing view of the ridge, lake, and volcano minus the vehicles for couples or single people like me 😅.
Since we had more time at hand, I asked 
There was an access point from the ground floor of the restaurant to a lower ground where customers can have photos taken at their "Instagrammable" Japanese-looking stairs, yellow helicopter, and some winged shape backdrop. A separate fee of Php 200 just to have access to this one. Smart business move.

It's not my first time seeing the magnificent Taal Lake but this short visit rekindled that admiration for our very own tourist destinations.
KOPA KOPPI would be a good cafe for a stopover if you are heading to Tagaytay like us. I wouldn't say they have delicious coffee because I wasn't able to try one but with a view like that, I guess it's already worth it.
