"My little family decided to take care of the child in 2010. My mother worked in a children's shelter, after that in a kindergarten and a children's hospital. I am 31 years old and I can not have children.
After making the decision, we appeal to the guardianship authorities, we finish the school of foster parents, we collect the necessary documents. We sell an apartment in the city and buy a house in the village 2 km from the city, so that the child would grow up in the open air and eat natural products. After receiving a custodial statement, we get in line and regularly call for custody. I'm not going to tell you now about the rudeness and familiarity that we had to face. But I'll tell you about their incompetence - they regularly lost our documents, immediately ordered to stop calling them and did not offer any options.
Then there was a data bank about the children left without parental care and then we became scared ... We traveled all over Russia, phoned all regions and nowhere there are no children. We did not look for beautiful and completely healthy, we searched for a child from 0 to 6 years, a girl, without cerebral palsy, HIV and down syndrome.
The last trip ended yesterday. We phoned Volgograd, they said that the child had a rectum cut, brain ischemia and strabismus. Professor from Saratov gave confidence that in six months the girl would go to kindergarten (the construction of which I achieved in the same village), and then to school as other children. In the ward of Volgograd they said that it is possible to register for an appointment on July 21, as the specialist works alone. We insisted very much and made sure that we can come tomorrow. Extra charges, 600 km of disgusting road, dirty city, terrible traffic and we are in guardianship.
After waiting about an hour for a specialist who has a lot of people, we saw that she was coming from a tea party and there was no queue for her. Well, they told us very rudely that we are guilty of blaming ourselves for having come to them for a long time and already were with children, that our specialists in the guardianship are stupid and do not know how to fill out the documents. Then we got a direction and jerked into the child's house.
In the house of the child a director waited for me, she was 10 years younger than me, she tried to read the child's case for a long time, but she could not. Showed the photo of the girl from the data bank and led us to the doctors. Medic did not immediately read the diagnosis, and led to get acquainted with the girl ... During my acquaintance, everything became clear to me. The child does not walk, does not sit, does not focus the look. Remember the three diagnoses? And now a small addition - infantile cerebral palsy, damage to the cerebral cortex due to late detection of cerebral ischemia, epilepsy, hepatitis, undeveloped limbs.
This is only part of all disorders and diseases.
But the meaning is clear - the child dies, does not eat on his own, does not understand anything. Because it is not needed by anybody and simply "hanging" on the balance sheet. To our question why these diagnoses were not announced, the director said that they simply could not read them and hand them over to the guardianship authorities. The doctor suggested we take another girl, she is complicated, but not hopeless. The guardianship authorities told us that she was deaf, but the diagnosis was withdrawn. We went to receive a referral. But it turned out that the child is given back to another married couple. The second specialist appeared just for our second visit, and with threats to the workers at the child's home, breathed on me with a fume and gaily tinkled with a package.
This is just one of the trips, and there were more than a dozen of them, not counting the local guardianship. They explained to us that healthy children get generous guardians. And if you want to take the child legally and without bribes, then your documents will continue to get lost. "
