Didn't even know these sort of notebooks were out there. I work for the government, I used to be in the corporate world where people would bring laptops to meetings and have things readily available to them and multitask.
My office doesn't have WiFi, nor have I been issued a permanent laptop. I've had to shift 20+ years of laptop use in meetings to paper notebooks. This product appears to provide a good compromise for me.
They have multiple versions of these books and there are other competitors that sell similar products apparently. These are a new idea as of last year. One version will let you take pictures with your phone of each page. There is another version that can grab your writing via bluetooth. There is another version for artists more suited towards drawing.
The interesting part about these books are that they have reusable pages, After taking the photos or whatever you do to sync the images to several cloud services that are supported, you can erase the pages.
You erase them by either a simple damp cloth, almost as if you are working with a whiteboard with dry-erase markers. These are 80+ page books and some boast that the pages can be reused 500 times.
If you don't want to mess with water and wipes. There is another version that erases the pages by simply putting the book in the microwave for a few minutes.
You have to use a certain type of pen. These are apparently a somewhat common type of pen and inexpensive as well.
I'm looking at this as a great solution for me. I have a bookshelf full of notebooks and if I wanted to find something in one of them, it is a real challenge. I'd much rather flip through images on a PC or smartphone. I'll be buying one of these too, :)
