At the last Bitshares talk show.... the idea of the DanEvent was solidified. Find out more!
This is a PRE-ANNOUNCE of the DanEvent.
- What is a pre-announce?
- It means this event isn't officially announced yet. We're not ready to start taking questions and voting on which top 10 questions everyone wants answers to the most.
On the last afterparty of the Bitshares talk show hosted by Fuzzy... we determined there are some very pointed questions we'd like Dan Larimer to answer... these questions keep coming up, and the community feels like it is being left in the dark.
The problem is, this has gone from being mildly annoying, to downright upsetting until these questions are answered.
In order to grab Dan's attention to the matter, we're designing the DanEvent
Over the next month or two, we're going to compile a list of questions from various communities for Dan Larimer to answer. We're limiting them to 10. The most popular, and most frequent questions will be summarized, then voted on... and presented to Dan Larimer to answer.
We assume he'll probably answer them on his medium channel. Or, he might even surprise us, and make a public appearance at a specific Bitshares talk radio show on Discord.
If the community wants answers from Dan, it's up to all of us to organize ourselves in a way that Dan will see the collective interest and put some un-answered questions to rest.
Lack of communication is good in particular situations. However, the community now feels the silence has gone on long enough and it is time we heard from him.
That's what interviews are always about... asking the questions that are burning on everyone's minds... and these same questions have been growing stronger and more important each and every day.

The DanEvent is a new tag on steem. It's a new word that can be used virally to explain what is coming up and about to transpire.
Examples of use in everyday conversation:
- Hey! We should bring this up at the DanEvent
- I'm sure that will get answered at the DanEvent
- When's the DanEvent going to happen?
- What did Dan say about the DanEvent?
- LOL... You could try asking that question at the DanEvent but I doubt it will get voted in as a top 10 question.
- I already submitted that question for the DanEvent. Hopefully it gets in
