"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going." Beverly Sills
The west ridge of Mt Loki (2779 m or 9117 ft ) in late spring. After an energy sapping slog (6 hours) through deep wet snow and seeing the size of the wet snow cornices on the remaining ridge line along with the wind and storms coming in I gave up any hope of summiting. I was hiking with my drone so I popped it up and managed to grab a few summit shots before the weather closed in. Loki is in the West Kootenays in British Columbia, Canada.
