This is where I grew up. Chickamauga Lake near Chattanooga TN. The Tennessee River was dammed up in the 1940's as part of the New Deal. The river continues to run through it and we see barges daily from my childhood home.
Here are some pictures of my wife with her new inflatable Tower Paddleboard she got for Christmas

Here is our selfie before we leave

Here is a picture of my wife holding my hard paddleboard before we leave
She picked it up pretty well and never fell in
!
Neither one of us fell in and had a great time in all sorts of coves we never see in a skiboat or cruiser.
We will paddleboard more often. The inflatable would be 1000X easier to transport than the hardboard

I would recommend the inflatable paddleboard to anyone who doesn't live at the water. If you have to put a paddleboard in your car to get to the water, it only takes 5 minutes to inflate and it can fit in any trunk or seat of a car.
A longboard is very awkward to transport. It does ride better and faster. I eventually tied my wife only my hardboard and towed her home....
We had a great time and give a great review of the Tower. Dont expect to cover a lot of ground as fast as a hardboard but they are very easy to setup and breakdown. If you live at the water, have a truck or rack, or are a serious paddleboarder, the hardboard is better.
