This poem is dedicated to all my fellow steemians and of course Big Whales who can make the difference. So let's go.

Do you ever sit down and think,
Have you ever tried to find the missing link,
Do you ever wonder and look around,
The world is screaming yet no one is making a sound,

Have you ever felt the pain,
Of families split all in vain,
Do you ever think of the little children,
The innocent angels who've not committed a single sin,

Have you ever felt their fear,
As they see their death draw ever near,
Have you ever felt the somber cold,
When a living body is less precious than gold,

Such is the world we live in today,
A time when most have lost their way,
Where the elite decide their fellow humans' fate,
And all we can do is sit in silence and wait,

Think of your blessings my privileged friends,
Time may heal but love truly mends,
Take a moment to appreciate those around you,
Their struggles are very real if only you knew,

Spread love, not hate,
Or life will go fishing with you as the bait.
