Holo!! Greetings everyone, the new creatures from Holozing are amazing! Each one has unique characteristics and they're so cute. Of course, they inspire us to create our own fan art using different techniques. In my case, I decided to make them in macrame, choosing the adorable Panyin for this occasion. I hope you enjoyed seeing the process! 😊

Holo!! Saludos a todos, las nuevas creaturas de Holozing son increíbles, cada una tiene características únicas y son muy lindas, por supuesto que nos inspiran a hacer nuestros fanarts en diferentes técnicas, en mi caso decidí hacerlos en macramé escogiendo para esta ocasión al adorable Panyin, espero les fue ver el proceso para realizarlo 😊

Materials / Materiales

• Acrylic yarn: blue, white, black, pink, brown
• Chinese cord
• Ruler
• Cutting board
• Scissors
• 2 clothespins
• Pattern

• Hilo acrílico: azul, blanco, negro, rosado, marrón.
• Cordón de hilo chino
• Regla
• Tabla
• Tijera
• 2 pinzas para ropa
• Patrón

Process / Proceso

The first thing I did was make the pattern. In the Pixel Station app, I created a 15 x 19 square canvas. I painted each square with the brush and paint bucket tools, using the color picker for each part. Then, in the Inshot app, I added the numbers. These numbers are important to guide you with the number of guide threads needed (15) and the number of rows of knots (19). Each square represents a knot.

Lo primero que hice fue hacer el patrón, en la aplicación Pixel Station creé un lienzo de 15 x 19 cuadros, pinté cada cuadro con las herramientas pincel y bote de pintura usando para cada parte el selector de color, luego en la aplicación Inshot agregué los números, estos números son importante para guiarse con el numero de hilos guía necesarios (15) y el numero de hileras de nudos (19), cada cuadro representa un nudo.

With the Chinese thread cord, I cut a 70 cm long strand, then I took one end and made a sliding knot wrapping the opposite end, then I did the same on the other side, cut and burned the ends, thus the base of the necklace is ready.

Con el cordón de hilo chino corte una hebra de 70 cm de largo, luego tomé un extremo e hice un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto, luego hice los mismo del otro lado, corté y quemé las puntas, de ese modo queda la base del collar listo.

I wrapped the collar around the board. With blue thread, I cut 7 strands of 30 cm and 1 additional strand attached to the ball. I took the strands in the middle and knotted them in the center of the collar. I knotted the strand attached to the ball first on the left, thus obtaining a knotting thread and 15 guide threads.

Rodeé la tabla con el collar. Con hilo azul corté 7 hebras de 30 cm y 1 hebra adicional unida al ovillo, tomé las hebras por la mitad y las anudé al centro del collar, anudé la hebra unida al ovillo de primer lugar a la izquierda, de ese modo obtuve un hilo anudador y 15 hilos guía.

I followed the pattern to make the knots for each row, adding the knotting threads of different colors and crossing them behind when the color changes are made. The knots are made when the knotting thread wraps twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows. For this, you have the numbering of the side that corresponds to the beginning of the row.

Seguí el patrón para hacer los nudos de cada hilera, agregando los hilos anudadores de diferentes colores y cruzándolos por detrás cuando se hacen los cambios de color, los nudos se realizan cuando el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, para eso se tiene la numeración del lado que corresponde el comienzo de la hilera.

After completing all the rows of knots, I separated the guide threads into four parts and made 4 knots, cut the strands to even out the ends, then cut and hid the knotting threads behind.

Al finalizar todas las hileras de nudos, separé los hilos guía en cuatro partes e hice 4 nudos, corté las hebras para emparejar las puntas, luego corté y escondí los hilos anudadores por detrás.
