Today I'd like to share with you my very favourite smoothie at the moment. It is super simple to make, you need only few ingredients - AND it tastes like heaven. So if you can find aloe vera where you live, you should definitely give it a try. And it is not only delicious, but healthy too! Aloe vera is one of the most famous "medical plants". It is anti-inflammatory, boosts the immune system, aids digestions, and many more. š

Ingredients (for 2 glasses)
- 1 ripe large mango (or 2 small ones)
- about 50 g aloe vera "meat"
- handful of fresh mint leaves
- juice of 2 limes
- about 250 ml water (more or less depending on desired consistency)
Instructions
- Peel and "fillet" the aloe vera and put the pieces into a blender.
- Peel the mango and add the meat together with the fresh mint leaves and the limes juice.
- Add half the amount of water and blend until smooth. Add more liquid until the desired consistency.
- Fill in a glass or make a smoothie bowl adding fruits, nuts and seeds.
