Hi, fellow Hivers! I’m back from Normandy. It’s been one week I was away for a short vacation and it was a busy and tiring week. We spent the week with the family and relatives.
Here are some photos taken from my iPad mini. And I am also blogging right now using my iPad mini. And wow, I can upload 15 photos at a time. I brought my Nikon D5100 camera with me but photos will be uploaded on my laptop.
Photos taken from the car
I had no idea about Normandy. I just learned that this area had so many history related to the World War 2. We have not visited the WW2 museums but that’s for the next visit. We were just 2 hours away from Bretagne to Normandy. We can visit Mont Saint Michel next time.
For these photos, we have seen some historical sites on our way to the restaurant to celebrate Papi’s birthday.
Port en Bessin Huppain
We visited this port with the kids and enjoyed a snack after. It was a quick visit in the afternoon. We also visited a church where photos taken using my camera.
Vacation house in Normandy
My husband’s relatives have a house in Normandy. The kids eat enjoyed playing in the garden. We enjoyed our lunch under the sun of the terrace.
We visited Arromanches and a cathedral in Bayeux. But I am really interested to visit the World War 2 museum someday.
The week was filled with French traditions, having dinner and drinking wines and champagnes. As someone who is not a heavy drinker, I always wake up late. LOL
I am still away from my laptop but I will try my best to interact using my iPad mini.
I miss you all and have a good day!
Blogging from my iPad,
Roxanne
