The old Nyhavn harbor was built at the end of the sixteenth century. It is a canal excavated by Swedish prisoners of war and served as a landing gear to unload goods and fish.
A place for beer, sailors and prostitutes where Hans Christian Andersen lived a few years; many colored houses all in line, made of wood, bricks and plaster and hundreds anchored boats.
An evocative perspective has immediately come to the harbor, especially at sunset where light creates a magical atmosphere with its reflections on the water.
And then there in Carlsberg! Its name is known all over the world and I could not stop at the famous factory of the "green", an old 1847 brick brewery with attached chimney and elephant door.
In the visitors' center there is the history of beer and an exhibition with all the collection of the thousands of bottles that have made history.
In the courtyard you can find the stables, the old colorful trucks and the restaurant where a beer is free for each visitor.
A real dream for beer lovers and buying a t-shirt is a must.
