Pop Music Landscape
Pop music was highly popular in the 1990s, though the first half of the decade was dominated by grunge from the likes of Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Rock music was incredibly popular then, dance music was gaining traction, and hip-hop was rising on the music charts.
During the second half of the 1990s, the pop music scene shifted as radio and music channels began to feature more radio-friendly tracks. The Spice Girls became a global phenomenon and are often credited for this shift; their song "Wannabe" became a global smash alongside their first two albums, Spice and Spiceworld. Hanson is also frequently mentioned for hitting the airwaves with "MmmBop" and selling millions of copies of their mainstream debut, Middle of Nowhere. Aqua also dominated pop radio with their hit "Barbie Girl," which was known for its cartoonish style and music video.
Boy bands such as the Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, and *NSYNC also made a huge contribution to the late-1990s pop scene.
Sunday
I woke up early because I heard my dog barking. Probably, there's a cat bullying him. I even heard him cried a little, so I headed downstairs to stop the cat. Also, I had let my dog release the wastes from his body, and put him back to his place, and prepared our breakfast. We attended our weekend meeting in sign language too.
Feels Like Paradise
It feels like paradise as we strolled around Mount Olis. The beauty, serenity, and the climate is perfect enough that makes this place worth visiting.
