Sadie finally ended her long pursuit inside the farmhouse, killing the man who destroyed her life. After a quiet, emotional moment with Arthur, she rode off alone. Peace did not last, as bounty hunters arrived, forcing one final fight before I cleared the area and moved on.

I followed Sadie into the farmhouse, climbing to the upper floor just in time to witness the final act of her vengeance. She dragged her target out and, with a raw intensity, drove a tomahawk into him. She made absolutely sure he was dead, finally ending the life of the man who had taken so much from her.

The rage seemed to leave her all at once, replaced by a heavy grief. Arthur pulled out a chair for her, offering a small moment of comfort as she began to open up. She spoke softly about her husband, remembering him as a good man and admitting how much she still misses the life they had before the O'Driscolls destroyed it.

After their talk, Arthur suggested it was time to leave this bloody scene behind. Sadie, however, needed a moment of silence to process everything.
She told Arthur she wanted to be alone for a bit and rode off, officially completing the mission and leaving Arthur standing among the ruins of the farmhouse.

The peace was short-lived. I noticed a gang of bounty hunters closing in on the property. I sprinted toward the barn and fired a blank shot into the air, as a bold signal to let them know that their prey was actually the one hunting them.

As they swarmed the area, I opened fire. I took down almost the entire gang, but I decided to leave one survivor to fun with. To strip him of his confidence, I shot his horse, forcing him to face me on foot.

The man charged toward the barn, looking to gun me down. I stayed one step ahead by climbing onto the roof. From my high point, I watched him scramble around inside and out like a madman, completely unable to find where the shots were coming from.

I decided to end his confusion with a few arrows. He tried to scramble for cover behind a nearby tree, but there was no escaping my line of sight. I eventually pinned him down, finishing the fight on my terms.

Once the danger had faded, I climbed down and walked over to the body of the last hunter. I looted him and then made a round of his fallen buddies, collecting whatever valuables and ammunition they had been carrying.

Before riding away, I did a final sweep of the camp. With my pockets full and the area finally quiet, I rode my horse away from the farmhouse, leaving the memories of the O'Driscolls and the bounty hunters behind in the dust.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
