These 2 Crabs fried in Salted Egg photos are my submission to the dailyfoodphotography contest.
To make a great success of this dish is not easy as the salted Egg need to done in a way to get the taste into the crab meat.
The chefs of the 2 restaurants cooked these dishes very well as the taste of the salted Egg are well absorbed into the crabs. They are pretty generous with the salted eggs.
The Crabs were not over cook and they were fresh. Crispy and tasty and we really enjoyed our 2 crabs. Like what The Colonel said, " it is finger licking good".
Of course we have to use our fingers to tackle and and that's the enjoyment in eating crabs.
This is the other Salted Egg Crab I had when I was in Singapore.
One of these crabs came from a food court Restaurant and the other from a well known Seafood Restaurant specialises in seafood.
Both restaurants served fresh live crabs. But one Restaurant cost double that of the other restaurant at the food court.
But both are just as delicious except one has a nicer atmosphere, waitress to attend to us, bowls of lemon to wash our hands, have table cloth and well presented. But we paid for all that in the price.
You be the judge, from the photo, which is the crab from the restaurant and which from the food court.
