If you still feel depressed because of what happened this week, just give me a minute and try to think about the thought I'll try to present in the lines below.
American president might as well be the single most influential person on this planet. His decisions, ideas and believes he publicly presents usually affect the whole world. A pretty depressing outlook in the case of Donald Trump. But is it really? Does a single person really changes that much in the minds of individuals? Today, we live in a world that is more connected than ever, more educated than ever and freer than ever. People are curious, and need to know more, explore more. People need and want to live in different places and meet different people, learn about new cultures and all this is possible thanks to the internet and phones and all these modern technologies. This bond we all created is unbreakable and no person or wall can break or disrupt it. That is the single reason why no totalitarian regime stands a chance in this age. We do not live in free countries, we live in a free age. In age we created and continue creating. So please, I beg you, don't break down over the new American President. Stay the way you are. Go and create. Go and stay true to what you believe in, because that is what makes this time so exciting, that is what makes America so exciting, that everybody, every person can be his truest self.
Thanks,
Jacob.
