Yesterday I went out to my friend's condo in New Braunfels on the Comal River and shot a bunch of photos for his Airbnb marketing. I got to use my drone quite a bit and I utilized my Sony camera as well: for some interior and exterior shots.
For the aerial views, I used my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone and focused a lot of our efforts on the river. This is a huge part of New Braunfel's economy since we have a beautiful, crystal-clear blue river that runs through our city that is relatively calm: perfect for floating in a tube and drinking a bunch of booze. Perfect for hordes of tourists and people that use Airbnb.
It is the very first condo/hotel/etc that you come to if you start floating at Wurstfest, where most people begin. Wurstfest is visible in the above photo: the reddish roof long building that was just redone recently. The Landmark is also visible in the above photo where my wife I lived until almost a year ago.
The condo was updated and looks amazing, especially compared to a lot of the other Airbnbs advertised in the building. There is a great view (mainly of the parking lot) of the river and pool and it has a lot of natural light that comes into the unit. Also! The previous owner created a tile replica of the Comal River in the entryway complete with landmarks as it is to scale if you were to compare it to a map of the river. They used to collect trinkets and lost treasure from the river and even placed it into the tiles - so there are a few neat little items in the floor (old watches, bullet shells, etc). Really cool stuff.
