My friend Jasmine has outdone herself. She painted my mom's pup with watercolors and it is spot on. My mom wanted to give this gift to her husband for Christmas and I think Jasmine knocked it out of the park.
She's done a handful of dogs and just started getting business from strangers (which is awesome!) since she posts her paintings on Instagram. She also has a YouTube account where she posts videos of watercoloring and other painting techniques and crafts.
She has an Etsy store as well where she sells a lot of her art.
I've told her about the NFT idea and she loves it but doesn't quite know how to translate her tangible paintings into NFTs - or maybe she should recreate them entirely with digital means since she has an iPad, a stylist and a program that she's used to paint digitally.
This is all out of my wheelhouse of expertise. What do you think, should she start making these digitally and sell them as NFTs or just make them in the tangible form specifically for clients?
