I had a very interesting meeting yesterday and last night with potential partner with some serious financial backing behind them. I introduced them to Crypto , the blockchain and had some very interesting conversations about potential opportunities specifically to developing countries on the African continent. I am very sure that we will have some good news very soon on new ways to spawn companies addressing real world problems with solutions specifically based on Blockchain technology.
It is still my vision to assist the Steem platform to get real world currency flowing into the STEEM ecosystem

I have read some very interesting stats on the growth of advertisement spent over the past few years. It is seriously astonishing what the attention economy recently brought to the table. The growth number of smart phones across the world, specifically in the developing countries has also gave a whole new spin to the advertisers. Advertisers still remain over indexed to legacy media
It does look like advertising on Radio has stabilised, but print and television is still going down while Online advertising is still on an upward trend.
Adverts that work
It looks like we have became so used to television ads that it will be difficult to make other media work online. Video adverts still work the best.
I hope you enjoyed these stats just as much as I did, I see some serious opportunity here as a more longer term solution for yet another way to get real world currency to flow into the STEEM ecosystem.
