How I Make an Egg sandwich (in under 5 min)
Eggs are delicious and are found in many breakfast sandwiches. They are not only high in protein, they're also relatively inexpensive. As such, eggs are a perfect ingredient for a tasty sandwich. Think about it. It's a wonderful mix of egg, bread, and other toppings that can create a variety of different flavors as you mix them together. All you have to do is whip up some eggs, toast up the bread, and sauce it with your favorite topping, and enjoy!
Today, I will show you the egg sandwich I make, It is wicked simple and is ready in under 5 minutes or around that time. Let's crack some eggs and make a meal together.
Ingredients
It does not get any simpler than this.
2 - Eggs.
1 - English muffin.
(?) - Some Parmisian cheese (Shaved or grated).
1 - Frying Pan and spatula.
1 - Toaster.
? - Salt / Pepper.
Step 1.
Rip that English Muffin in half and drop it into a toaster. My toaster is set for 5 min with a medium heat.
While it is cooking, crack them eggs into the frying pan as such.
Personally, I like to mix my dark shelled eggs and light shelled eggs together. Sure they taste the same, but IDK, call me crazy.
I have the stove set to HI. Cause, I like it when my stove greets me as I cook.
After a bit (*Depending on the heat of your stove), you will see bubbles start to form and pop. This is your cue that cooking science is happening, and you can move to the next step.
Using your spatula, or if you are balls crazey, your hand, mix up the eggs and the yoke a bit to make a nice blend of white and yellow.
Your results may look different from the photo below, but no worries, just go with it. Cooking is a lot about feelings, so feel it out, ask the eggs how they are doing, you may hear them bubble back a little message like, "HEY man, I am doing great, can't wait for you to eat me soon". Then you know you are ready for the next step.
At this point, I grab the spice thing with pink Himalayan sea salt in it, pepper corn and something else I am not sure about, then twist it a few times to season up them eggs nice.
Using your cooking spatula, flip and fold that egg in half, then on top put on a generous pinch of the Parmisian cheese. For me, at this point the toaster just went BING, queuing me that the 5-min timer is up. Perfect! I will leave the cheese to melt as I go grab the now toasted muffins.
The photo below looks like the muffins are not cooked, but they have a mild crisp to them, and the bread is warm like your bed in the morning... When you wake up, and it is cold outside but under the covers, you got that all night body heat built up, it is just warm, you don't want to get out of bed, but you sorta have to as you got to pee, so lay their just enjoying the bed till you have to get up and start the day... the muffins should be warm like that.
Next is where we separate the MEN from the boys, the WOMAN from the girls, It is a hard stunt to pull off, and that is where this whole process can go wrong. You got to spatula that eggy cheese goo from the pan, onto your soft warm muffin.
After, your results should look something like this.
Me, I like to make sure there are no bits left in the pan, such as and cheese left, as such I make sure to maneuver anything left onto the now, 90% finished meal.
The last bit of this is to pop the top on to the dish.
Okay, I lied, the last-last step is to grab a sexy photo of your meal to share on Instagram and make everyone jealous of your cooking might.
Well, their you have it. It is how I make an egg sandwich for a simple morning breakfast in under 5 minutes (or their bouts). Will this win the next "Cooking With The Stars" show? Perhaps... but I would rather think it would make a great meal, for the cryptotraders on the go!
What do you think?
- Do you like?
- How would you make it better?
- Hungry now?
