The reason for my absence during these first months of 2019
First of all, a cordial greeting to all the friends and acquaintances from the world of Steemit and obviously to my followers, who give life to this beautiful social network.
Unfortunately, I have been absent during these two months from Steemit due to health problems. Well yes, somehow I get infected with Amoebiasis. A disgusting tiny microorganism, but highly dangerous if you do not fight it back in time.
The intestinal amebiasis occurs when the pathogen Entamoeba histolytica (amoeba) enters into our body. This usually happens by consuming food (fruits or vegetables, usually salads) that have not been washed properly, also by not washing your hands properly before eating.
It is a terrible pain that feels inside you, in the intestinal part and you start to go to the bathroom constantly. Chronic diarrhea. The problem was more serious because I started to bleed through the stool. That affects the values of hemoglobin and weakens the body. And if it is not treated in time, it can attack the liver and can even lodge in the brain.
Thanks to God and modern science, there are medications that are special to counteract the disease, such as Metronidazole, which was the medication that was administered directly to my vein; 3 times a day, for 5 days. I hate needles. However, the pain I felt in my gut was stronger than the pain of a needle in my vein.
Many times I felt like vomiting, had a fever and lived almost 24 hours sitting in the toilet. It is a disease that I do not wish on anyone. Terrible.
That's why you have to be careful when eating salads, hot dogs and other meals on the street or in dubious food establishments. The best thing is to avoid those situations, no matter how hungry you are.
You must be very careful during the illness, the bathroom that I used, nobody else used it. I also had to spray chlorine after using the toilet and washing not only my hands but my behind to avoid infecting my relatives.
After receiving the treatment, I felt much better. However, I did not know that you have to be very careful afterward and you have to have a careful diet (chicken soups, creams, green plantains) that help to harden the bowel movements. And well, I did not know that most of the times the disease repeats due to the cysts that are lodged in the intestine.
Again I relapsed and then went back to the hospital. The doctor indicated a new treatment to destroy the cysts. That's why it took me longer to recover me.
I'm better now thanks to God, I guess I'm healthy now. However, I've been recommended by the people who have suffered from this disease that I must repeat the treatment within 2 months to kill any remaining microorganism.
Let's time goes by ...
I mention all this so that you'll know what you should do in case of being infected with this microorganism. If I had known all this, I'm sure I would not have suffered so much. If you suspect you have this disease, you should take a stool sample and take it to a clinical laboratory to detect it in time. As we say here: A warned soldier does not die in war and if he dies it is because of cluelessness (in my native language it rhymes).
So, I decided to make this post as my first Ulog. I guess this post falls into this category, isn't it?
Late gratitude
I want to thank all the people who supported the SANTA VENEZUELA initiative, I suppose that although it has been a long time since this initiative was published, I think I should also thank all those who helped collaborate in this initiative, among them:

Thank you very much and God bless all of you.
Getting back on track ...
For sure I have missed many things that have happened inside Steemit, during all my absence. However, I will go little by little catching up with the post where I have been mentioned and others that have arrived in the memos.
Also, I have the task to visit the blogs of all the people I mentioned, to support them in their publications.
Keep spreading the Steemit love
Thanks for passing by!
